The Cavaliers put together two sub-par quarters in a row, the second and the third, and both led to the Houston Rockets’ posting a 116 to 78 win on their home court Friday night.

The Cavs scored 18 points each in those quarters while the Rockets took command.  Houston reached triple digits with about four minutes left in what proved to be a lopsided second half.

James Harden led the way for Houston, popping in 20 points on 5-9 shooting. He canned three of five three-point shots and made seven of nine shots from the charity stripe.

Shaun Livingston and Wayne Ellington led the Cavaliers’ meager attack with 14 and 13 points respectively.

Cleveland shot a only 36 percent from the field and defensively played horribly, allowing Houston to shoot 57 percent from the field.
