CLEVELAND– Police in Cleveland say two men have been arrested, after they posed as a news crew, then assaulted a man with a stun gun.
Police say the victim told them he was walking through the parking lot of Dairy Mart on Detroit Ave. on Jan. 12, when he was approached by a group of six males.
He claims one of the males came up to him, holding a video camera, asking to interview him for Channel 8 News.
The victim told police he walked away and that’s when someone used a stun gun on him. He says the suspects all ran away.
Police say three of the suspects were later taken into custody. Police say a video camera and a stun gun were found on them.
Two men, Derek Rowell and Herbert Solomon, were then arrested on felonious assault charges.
