TORONTO — The Cleveland Cavaliers may have lost more than a game on Sunday night in Toronto.

Kyrie Irving took a hard hit while driving the baseline in the third quarter and went down grabbing his shoulder.

He tried to stay in the game and shot his free throws with one hand.

After hitting one of the two, he headed to the locker room and didn’t return.

The Cavaliers later said the x-rays taken at the Air Canada Centre were negative, but Irving suffered a left shoulder contusion.

He will be re-evaluated at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health on Monday.

Before leaving, Irving had 12 points for the game.

Dion Waiters led the Cavs with 21 points, four rebounds and two assists.

The Cavs ultimately fell to the Raptors, 100-96.

They play Washington at home on Tuesday.
